Genesis 2:18 And the LORD God said, It is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him an help meet for him.
Today we will be meditating on companionship.
Lord formed Adam from dust and placed him in the garden to do work. He was an administrator and keeper of all that Lord had. He was completely engrossed and did not care about anything apart from his work.
Lord as an able master, father, creator said these words that man should not be alone prepared a help meet for him.
Few things we will think on these lines.
1. Adam did not ask for a wife or help meet but he was fully focussed on the job which Lord gave him.
Lord says seek ye first the kingdom of God and all these things will be added onto you.
When we focus our energies on that which Lord tells us to do, he provides that we did not ask for.
2. Adam got a wife who was suitable for him.
Many time we quarrel with our companion and abuse each other. All these can be avoided when we leave the matter in his hands and do what Lord tells us to do.
When we get in trouble in our relationship where either person don't respect each other, we must seek his guidance before taking any step. In this age we find many divorce case rising because we don't seek his guidance while choosing or while leaving and enter into an endless cycle of toxic relationship.
3. Adam had got a companion suitable for helping him.
This is extremely important when you get a companion don't consider her only for household work. Many do the mistake of not sharing anything with his wife or partner then they lament where they go wrong. When you build a trust each other should be careful not to break that trust.
Today when you look at your wife thank Lord for a wonderful
1. Companion
2. Helper
3. Partner.
Dont ever lose or try to break the TRUST which s/he has placed on you.
